I’m Joe. I was in corporate telecom sales when I decided to try to make it on my own. I left my company of 11 years, took only those clients that I had brought onboard and made a go of it for 5 years. When the mobile carriers changed the requirements for billing and collection, I walked away. Lisa was co-owner of a medium size custom home builder in her previous life. She and I were the general contractors on one spec house, rehabbed and flipped a couple of others while we were raising our kids in Georgia. She was a licensed Realtor in Georgia but was working for our health insurance. And it occurred to me that becoming a Realtor is where I should land. Being interested in the improvement and upkeep of our homes, we always enjoyed seeing what other people had done to their properties. So, showing homes never gets old to me. As it turns out people love to talk about real estate, even if they are not currently in the market to buy or sell. Those conversations lay the groundwork for future opportunities. I always say I work on your schedule.
